After a breathtaking 81-yard touchdown against the Philadelphia Eagles — his former team – Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson will have the jersey and gloves that he wore during the game showcased in the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Pro Football Today Room.

Why? Jackson became only the third player in NFL history – Pro Football Hall of Famer Charlie Joyner and Art Powell being the others – with an 80-yard touchdown catch both for and against a team.

Earlier this week, Redskins Blog had this story on how Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson’s jersey was going to be featured at the Pro Football Hall of Fame after he became only the third player in NFL history to record an 80-yard touchdown both for and against a team.

During the Redskins’ Week 3 game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Jackson scored an 81-yard touchdown.

Jackson, of course, spent his first six NFL seasons with the Eagles.

His jersey, along with the ball that he caught and the gloves he wore to catch that ball, are now at the Pro Football Hall of Fame as seen below:
