Beauty In / Beauty Out Awards 2015

Back on the move for the third year in a row, the Beauty In / Beauty Out (BIBO) Awards Show is kicking off 2015 with a new stop in sunny California.  This prestigious awards Show will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the Beyond the Stars Palace 417 ½ N. Brand Blvd. Glendale, CA 91203, at 6:30 p.m., PT.  Attire is semi-formal.

This is the first time the BIBO Awards will host a show in California and BIBO Founder, Traci S. Campbell, is excited to bring BIBO to California; and, to celebrate the beautiful, intelligent women that are making a difference on the West Coast.

There will be amazing women honored at this year’s event. A sneak peak at some of the honorees includes:  Gayle Jackson, President and Co-Founder, of the DeSean Jackson Foundation, the Professional Football Players’ Mothers’ Association; and, the “momager” who oversees the career and business interests of her son, DeSean Jackson, of the Washington Redskins, will be honored for her work in the community; and Pancreatic Cancer Awareness.

Alli Simpson, the host of the “Alli Simpson Show”, and the youngest nationally syndicated radio host at Radio Disney. She is also a Fashion Blogger and the face of Kiss Impress Nails and Lashes. She is a Brand Ambassador for Mudd Clothing, an honor she shares with Noah Cyrus (brother of singer Miley Cyrus) and Stella Hudgens (sister of actress Vanessa Hudgens). She also works closely with her brother Cody Simpson with Teen Cancer America. She is an icon for millions of girls across the US and will be accepting the Starlett Award, an honor bestowed upon a young woman making a difference in her community.

The impressive list of celebrity award presenters for BIBO Los Angeles include: BIBO Alumna Yennifer Behrens, actress (“General Hospital, Seven Pounds” and co-founder of True Form Films), former boxer, Alan Santana, now West Coast Representative for the World Boxing Federation, Entrepreneur, Geir Ness, fragrance designer and creator of Laila perfume, Actor Deon Richmond (“Cosby Show”, “Sister Sister”, “Psych”); and, Actress Valery Ortiz (VH1’s “Hit the Floor”).

BIBO is also proud to announce that one of this year’s Reflection Award honorees is Actress and AIDS Activist, Sheryl Lee Ralph. Boasting an award-winning television, film and stage play acting and singing career spanning over 20 years and now a speaker, author and well-respected activist for women and HIV/AIDS, Sheryl Lee Ralph epitomizes the best of what being a “Diva” is all about. Most noted for her lead film role opposite Denzel Washington in “The Mighty Quinn” and her lead television role as stepmom Dee Mitchell opposite Brandy Norwood in “Moesha” and of course her legendary performance and Tony Award nomination for Best Actress as Deena Jones in the classic Broadway musical “Dreamgirls”, Sheryl Lee Ralph is an icon of talent and beauty. BIBO is most excited to honor Sheryl for her work as the founder of the DIVA Foundation and “Divas Simply Singing”, both designed to create awareness, generate resources and coordinate activities to combat against HIV/AIDS, and for “Sometimes I Cry”, the one-woman show conceived and writted by Sheryl Lee Ralph, inspired by real-life stories of women affected by AIDS.

The BIBO Los Angeles Tickets will be available for purchase soon. For more information on BIBO LA, including sponsorship packages and media

credential submissions, visit http://www.beautyinbeautyouttour.com.

BIBO, which stands for ‘Beauty In / Beauty Out’ is presented by the C.H.A.M.P. Community Project, a 501(c) (3) organization, which provides self-development and self-empowerment educational programs focused on the emotional and mental well-being of adults as well as teens who are living in single-parent environments. Both organizations were founded by Social Entrepreneur, Traci S. Campbell, who is an author, life coach, motivational speaker and radio host. The goal of the awards show is “to change the negative and oftentimes unrealistic images of women in mainstream media today. We promote real beauty, education, and real role models for the next generation by spotlighting community SUPERWOMEN.” A portion of ticket sales will benefit the C.H.A.M.P. Community Project.
