The Eagles “Play 60”
Eagles wide receivers Jeremy Maclin and DeSean Jackson visited “Our Lady Of Calvary” school in Northeast Philadelphia to talk about the importance of staying active and keeping yourself healthy as part of the NFL’s “Play 60” initiative. The dynamic duo were accompanied by Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders, mascot and community relations. Students participated in fun and games focused on targeting escalating youth obesity rates, poor nutrition and sedentary life styles, a national initiative developed by the National Football League. Maclin and Jackson also present the school with a check for $10,000 during the event.
